have been many changes that has taken the dynamics of the social problem of forced displacement in Colombia due to political violence, and progress and government efforts, non-governmental and national and international technical cooperation to reduce the impact of this situation in the affected communities, including the recipient population.
since 1998 and more than ten years I had the opportunity participate with the Pan American Health Organization in the process of institutional strengthening and community to demonstrate the problem, facing it in the best way from public health and psychosocial and improve the processes of reconstruction and restitution, in the light of the regulations on the which was undertaken and continues to conduct advocacy for public policy for the protection and care.
I am happy to share the Program's institutional video for Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Relief (PED) of the Pan American Health Organization in which it is presented from their perspective the reality of vulnerable populations and violated by violence and how from this organization helps to reduce the impact on community health and contributes to the process of transition to development.
